COVID-19 and CARES Act: What You Need to Know
The Coronavirus Aid, Relief, and Economic Security (‘‘CARES”) Act contains a significant number of provisions that will impact individuals and business related to income taxes. In some cases, the Act allows for a refund of prior taxes paid to generate positive cash flow, while in others it reduces the amount of taxes due on 2019 income tax returns that will be filed in the next few months, as well as 2020 income tax returns. This summary is meant to highlight the tax provisions in the CARES Act and provide some potential planning ideas.

COVID-19 Update - We are posting this notice to let you know how Frazer is addressing the current COVID-19 crisis. Our clients are our top priority, and we will do our best to continue serving and delivering without interruption during this challenging time. We will be re-opening our offices on June 1, 2020 to our valued clients and guests. We are still complying with recommendations issued by the CDC and Orange County Health Officer so, we will be working from the office and have personnel working from home. We have implemented recommendations for social distancing and access to the offices. Clients may send us information through the usual methods: such as USPS/UPS/FedEx, electronically through email, or our website portal. These are extraordinary times and this extraordinary step is necessary to help curtail the spread of the virus and preserve the health of our team and clients, while at the same time upholding our commitment to you.
