Jay has over twenty five years of advisory and public accounting experience. As a partner of the firm’s audit practice, he provides buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence on M&A transactions to private equity sponsors, lenders, and corporate clients where his expertise includes consultation on quality of earnings, purchase price adjustments, working capital analysis, and transaction structuring.
Over his career, Jay has advised on over 250 middle-market transactions including buyouts, recapitalizations and carve-outs for both platform and add-on acquisitions. Jay serves as the primary relationship partner for the firm’s private equity clients providing transaction advisory, audit, and tax solutions. His clients also rely on his transaction expertise for assistance with transaction disputes related to minority stock valuations, closing working capital, and earn-out provisions.
Jay is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, California Society of Certified Public Accountants, Association for Corporate Growth, USC Alumni Association, and former Board Member of USC Marshall Partners.
